Badges

All of our corse content and assessments are rigorously quality assured and quality checked periodically throughout the year. This ensures our delivery is to a consistent level and covers the same material each time.

Upon attendance or successful completion of course requirements you can ask your tutor to issue you with your digital badge of achievement. This will be sent to you whereby you can then display this on your socials, or simply use your badge(s) to keep track of your own training record, or completion of CPD hours.

Our badges can also be used to recognise content which has been customed for in-house training.

There are four levels of badge in the FYI Badge of Achievement scheme. Each badge possesses a different colour which identifies the course level.

• Beginner level outside colour is white, which is ideal for inductions and complete beginners.
• Introduction level outside colour is yellow. The course content and assessments are broadly equivalent to learning at a level 3 to 4 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
• Intermediate level outside colour is green. The content and assessments are broadly equivalent to learning at level 5 to 6 on the SCQF.
• Advanced level outside colour is green. The content and assessments are broadly equivalent to learning at level 8 on the SCQF.
