Course Overview
For many organisations an effective Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) is the starting point for robust data protection compliance. This course looks at the "nuts and bolts" of the DPIA process, discussing what an appropriate DPIA should contain. Delegates are invited to bring with them a real life project or business process from their own organisation which they can use as a basis for planning a real DPIA during the course.
The course will provide a practical understanding, enabling attendees to effectively conduct data protection impact assessments.

Candidates will gain an understanding of the legal requirements for a DPIA under UK GDPR and DPA 2018, as well as the benefits of a DPIA.
